Getting to Florence
Fly into Italy — either Florence FLR (Amerigo Vespucci Airport, 15 min from the city) or Rome FCO (Fiumicino Airport, 1h 30min by high-speed train to Florence). Both are your gateways to Tuscany.
The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) will be mandatory for all visitors from the USA, Canada, and Colombia entering Italy by early 2027. This is not a visa — it's a quick online pre-authorization similar to the US ESTA.
Not legally required, but strongly recommended. Make sure your policy covers medical emergencies and trip cancellation. European healthcare can be expensive for non-EU visitors without coverage.

We've taken care of everything. Accommodation for the wedding weekend has been arranged for all our guests at Tenuta Massini, a beautiful estate in Tuscany.

What's the dress code?
The wedding ceremony and reception on Sunday, August 29 is Black Tie — floor-length gowns and tuxedos. The welcome pizza party on Saturday, August 28 is Semi-Formal — elevated but comfortable. Think cocktail attire.
Is accommodation included?
Yes! We've arranged accommodation for all our guests at Tenuta Massini. Full details — check-in, location, pricing, and what's included — will be sent with your formal invitation.
Do I need a visa to visit Italy?
USA & Canada: No visa required — but ETIAS is required starting late 2026. Apply at travel-europe.europa.eu (€20, online, takes minutes).
Colombia: Also no visa required — Colombian passports are visa-exempt in Italy for stays under 90 days. ETIAS will also be required starting late 2026. ETIAS info for Colombians →
We'll share reminders as the date approaches and can provide a formal invitation letter if needed.
Are children invited?
We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration. We kindly ask that guests make childcare arrangements for the weekend so everyone can enjoy the festivities fully.
Is my significant other invited?
The guest list was planned thoughtfully. Your invitation will clearly indicate whether it includes your significant other — please RSVP accordingly and reach out if you have any questions.
What airport should I fly into?
Florence has its own international airport — FLR (Amerigo Vespucci / Peretola Airport), about 15 minutes from the city. Most guests flying intercontinentally will connect through Rome (FCO), Amsterdam (AMS), Madrid (MAD), or London (LHR). See the Travel section for routes from your city.
How do I get to Tenuta Massini?
Transportation details will be finalized and communicated based on everyone's arrival logistics. More information will be included with your formal invitation — we'll make sure getting there is seamless.
When should I book my flights?
Book as soon as possible — August is peak season in Italy. We recommend booking by end of 2026 for the best prices. Apply for your ETIAS before booking flights.
